The antique lamp is from the early part of the twentieth century. It is brass and cast iron-- wonderful patina. The antique finial at the top of the lamp holds the amazing one-of-a-kind shade in place. It has been re-wired and is ready to be placed in your Victorian parlor. This “Ambrosia Style Shade” was made in our studio specifically for this lamp. Two pull-chain tassels are included as shown.

The Ambrosia Shade has an Art Nouveau theme as seen in the fabric. The fabric is a silk velvet burn-out in greens and purples. Two different silk mid-linings are used under the outer fabric to highlight the lighted shade colors. Embellishments on the front panels and the trims on the side and top are hand-painted. Notice the rhinestone velvet trim above the beaded fringe. Two layers of thick beaded fringe complete this unique shade.
