Butterfly Fairy Shade and Antique Lamp
The center focus of this lampshade is a lovely butterfly fairy surrounded by flowers and delicately embellished with Swarovski rhinestones. The image, printed on silk fabric exclusively for this shade, glows softly when illuminated, revealing its intricate detail and luminous color.
The panel surrounding the fairy is a rich burnout velvet in deep plum with a small dotted pattern that adds depth and texture to the design. The remaining panels of the shade are created from a beautiful burnout silk velvet in the same harmonious palette of greens and plum tones, all layered over a warm bronze mid-lining that gives the shade a soft, golden glow when lit.
Around the top of the shade is a small, delicate ribbon trim in plum tones resembling tiny flowers. The remaining panels are outlined with a finely detailed floral trim, each blossom accented with a small sequin and bead at the center in shades of black and plum.
Along the bottom edge are two layers of beaded fringe. The longer outer layer is composed of faceted black crystal cut beads that catch and reflect the light beautifully. Beneath that is a shorter layer of beads in greens and plum, echoing the colors of the fabrics above. The shade is fully lined with silk and lights up beautifully, revealing the richness of the materials and the artistry of the design.
This is a very unique and truly one-of-a-kind piece. The fabrics and decorative elements used in its creation are no longer available, ensuring that this shade cannot be duplicated.
The antique lamp chosen for this shade complements its natural and whimsical theme. It is a beautiful brass bridge lamp featuring a swan-shaped arm, with a hammered brass rod and an ornate decorative centerpiece. Fine detailing on the base and throughout the lamp echoes the delicate details of the shade, reflecting the fairy and floral motifs. The lamp has a substantial weight and balance, perfectly suited to support the shade.
These two pieces were specifically paired for the way they enhance and complement one another, creating a distinctive and harmonious presentation.

Size of the butterfly fairy lampshade and antique bridge lamp: The lamp stands 58” from the floor to the top of the bridge. The lampshade measures 13” wide at its widest point, 10” from front to back, and 15” tall including the fringe. The reach from the back of the bridge arm to the front of the lampshade is 15”.
