It is a special treat for us when we can purchase antique trims and pieces that are in pristine condition or what is called “ new old stock”. These are items that can be even a century old but have never been used before. 
 
Such is the case with the center appliqués we used on this Chloe shade. It is real metallic threads in a beautiful design and fits perfectly to be the eye catching centerpiece. 
 
The remaining panels are black French silk adorned with 3D flowers. The trim is a velvet ribbon from New York City. The wonderful bronze silk midlining makes this shade glow beautifully!  The lamp shade is built on a frame styled after an antique frame from 100 years ago.  
 
This piece is one-of-a-kind-- and will fill any room with a warm soothing glow.
