This Gothic with Leaf shade is formed with gracefully shaped panels that give the frame its distinctive, elegant line. The side panels are of silk burnout velvet over a dark gold mid-lining, showing rich tones of deep orange, olive, and gold. The central panel features a delicate leaf design of embroidered flowers on a sheer ground, enhanced with beadwork, and backed with pleated silk chiffon. A refined appliqué runs down the center of the pleated panel.
On either side are net panels embroidered with small flowers in shades of orange, with leaves in soft sage green, repeating and drawing out the colors of the velvet. Around the leaf panel is a fine antique metallic and sage trim, with a second narrow metallic edging. The remaining panels are finished with coordinating metallic and sage velvet trim, and appliqué accents appear above the fringe line.
The lower edge is completed with a handsome beaded fringe in sage, and the shade is fully lined in silk.
