This elegant slate blue Empress Lampshade is made with a beaded netting on the sides and top panels. I have pleated the panels under the netting on the 2 larger panels with silk chiffon. The very top peak panel is an embroidered silk.

There are 2 kinds of trim on this shade, a puckered ribbon vintage style and also a velvet ribbon trim. The beads are a mix of small crystal cut beads with larger beads that dangle at the bottom of the strand. There are “chains” of the small crystal cut beads that connect the group of 7 strands. The silk mid-lining over the charmeuse silk lining give this monochromatic shade a wonderful glow when lighted. This shade is perfect for a floor or table lamp!
