Gull-Wing Table Lamp Shade — Black Beaded Silk Chiffon with Bronze Tipped Fringe
The gull-wing shade shown here is an ideal scale for a large table lamp, its graceful lines enhanced by luxurious materials and thoughtful detailing. 
The larger panels are formed of beaded silk chiffon layered over a dark gold mid-lining, giving the shade both depth and a warm, luminous undertone.
At the center, a heavily beaded appliqué panel recalls the ornamentation seen on fine morning jackets and fashionable garments from the turn of the 20th century. This central motif is flanked by elegant leaf-shaped panels of pleated chiffon, also set over the rich gold lining. Above each of these, delicate rose embroidery appears on sheer fabric, adding a refined floral accent and soft romantic touch.
Every panel is framed in a finely worked braid trim reminiscent of that found on Victorian cloaks, carried continuously around the top and lower edge of the shade for a unified, tailored finish.
The lower edge is finished with a soft, silky fringe in bronzy gold, gently deepening to a darker bronze at the tips. Over this rests a second layer of delicate beaded fringe, creating a striking overlay of black against bronze that adds movement, depth, and a subtle touch of drama.
