This is a very unique and beautiful piece!  It is called a Shield or Half Shade and is  done in silk burnout velvet jewel tones.  Four of the panels are beaded lace overlay on silk charmeuse. The front panel is pleated silk underneath burn out velvet for effect when lighted. The center panel is trimmed with antique metallic and velvet trim.
 
In the center is an antique Czech brooch with rhinestone gems in red, green, and amber.  The remaining panels are trimmed with velvet braid. A beaded tassel fringe completes the bottom of the half shade. 
 
Size: 10.5” wide x 6.5” deep x 15 tall including fringe 
 
This shield lampshade was handmade in our US studio.
